This aim of this multi-year deal is to enable the operator to deliver “world-class digital consumer-like customer experiences to enterprises”.

Amdocs will be the main systems integrated in the managed services contract, to build an omnichannel digital business system to expand its B2B services in the UK.

Amdocs’ brief includes enabling Three UK to provide its enterprise customers with new services that can be deployed, discovered and scaled on demand, providing faster time to market and better customer experience.

The contract follows Amdocs’ managed transformation project at Three Ireland.

In March, when Three UK’s long-standing CEO Dave Dyson, announced he was standing down, CK Hutchison Group Telecom, which owns the Three companies, said in a statement that a core objective has been to move progressively towards a greater alignment of Three Group Europe’s businesses and platforms.

Robert Finnegan, CEO of Three Ireland, is also assuming responsibility for the UK operator.

Elaine Carey, Chief Commercial Officer at Three UK & Ireland said, “We have an ambitious plan for the growth of our enterprise operations, building on the successful launch of our SME offer, Three Means Business, in 2019.

“This partnership with Amdocs will enable us to create modern and innovative solutions that will challenge the status quo and meet the evolving needs of UK businesses. We’re looking forward to working alongside them to provide world-class experiences and exciting new services at speed to B2B customers.”
