POST Luxembourg and Jasper open IoT platform for Euro firms to go global

    -

Operator POST Luxembourg has launched an internet of things (IoT) platform from US-based IoT provider Jasper to enable European enterprises to launch, manage and monetise IoT applications.

Jasper said at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that its existing partnership with POST Luxembourg and car-maker PSA Peugeot Citroën has already seen over 1.1 million connected vehicles in Europe migrate on to Japser’s IoT Control Centre Platform. Jasper originally signed a contract with POST Luxembourg at MWC in 2014.

POST Luxembourg is now offering the Jasper IoT platform more widely. The pair said European IoT and M2M enterprises looking to deliver services outside of Europe can now use Jasper’s Control Centre platform through TERALINK Solutions, the international business unit of POST, which launched last year.

Jasper partners with 27 mobile operator groups, representing over 100 mobile operator networks worldwide, so businesses can grow their IoT services beyond Europe.

Jean-Marie Spaus, Director at POST Luxembourg, said: “We continue to see a high level of demand for IoT solutions from our enterprise customers, and with Jasper, we are well-equipped to provide our customers with a premiere global IoT platform. Enterprises throughout Luxembourg, regardless of industry, can now quickly and cost-effectively deliver value-added IoT services that enable better relationships with their customers while driving revenue growth.”

As well as PSA Peugeot Citroën, Jasper provides a connected car platform to GM, Ford, Audi, Nissan, Honda, VW, Volvo, Toyota and Subaru.

Kalle Ward, Regional Managing Director EMEA at Jasper, said: “We continue to see businesses around the world leading the charge when it comes to IoT growth, and we have seen a lot of innovation throughout EMEA.”
